Valley Ballet Academy is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels.
Valley Ballet Academy director, Kathleen Burnett holds an MFA from Oklahoma University and is the co-founder and artistic director of Antelope Valley Ballet. Ms. Burnett is also a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor. Valley Ballet Academy founder Vicki Zarley, has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5, while instructors Tracie Phillips and KD Reilly Lewis have successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3.

Antelope Valley Ballet, co-founded and directed by Valley Ballet Academy director, Kathleen Burnett, provides professional level performance opportunities for community dancers by audition. The Antelope Valley Ballet presents The Nutcracker, Contemporary Dance and a spring ballet at Lancaster Performing Arts Center annually.
